Easy and convenient way to feed a cat
I feed my cat (10 pounds, 1-1/2 years old) Sheba pate and/or cuts three times a day. She gets one portion at each meal, plus dry food to nibble on all day. (If she had only the Sheba wet food she would need 6 portions a day.) She loves the tuna fish and the chicken flavors, although she eats them all. I give her a different flavor at each meal so that she isn’t bored. When its time to eat she will run to her dish and wait for the food to come. Sometimes I have a difficult time getting the cover off the portion, it’s stuck on there very well. When that happens she runs back and forth complaining loudly until I give her the food.It is easy and convenient to grab a portion, feed her, then throw away the container instead of opening a can and having to save portions of food in the refrigerator for later. I feed her foods with no grains and her fur coat is nice and shinny. Sheba is made in the USA and is grain free. The strongest smelling Sheba are the fish flavors, but the smell is not overpowering.

My cats’ favorite food!
It goes by fast bc this is mostly all my cats eat but they will literally meow nonstop, do pull ups, jump on the table, the whole ordeal! They will hear the cracking of the servings and will start planning their escape plan. They’ve tried other foods but never loved one as much as this so it must have really good taste. They’ve ate it since they were kittens because it’s pretty affordable considering how much it comes with and because it has some of the best ingredients. The only issue I’ve had is recently the food is a little hard to get out of the container so you have the bang it on their bowl if you don’t wanna touch it or have a spoon. It also makes it hard for them to get into, which I’m glad because they sometimes break into the food box no matter how much you feed them lol

My cat loves the food, but I am not a fan of the packaging
I inherited my moms cat and this is the ONLY food she will eat. I have tried so many other things for variety… but this is IT. Like I said in my headline, she loves the food, but often get squirted with cat food juice when trying to open the pack. This really bothers me because for some reason cat food juice grosses me out, so it might but others as much as it does me, but I do wish they would change the packaging. Portion size is perfect for her. She is a smaller kitty so for a larger cat you might consider serving 2 packs now and then, but even if you do that, it is pretty economical.

Sheba Bistro Cat food
My cat loves the bistro portions. They are a perfect portion size. When I received my order I didn’t realize that some of the packs had leaked. I don’t know if they got too cold or what happened, the outer box was in good shape. The cat foid gets 5 stars because it is my cats favorite.

“4-8 portions DAILY” – Cat was so HUNGRY with these portion sizes
I was wondering why my cat was so hungry when I gave 2 meals a day, 1 portion each. Then I looked at her other varieties like Fancy Feast, and realized the difference in the portion. Though it’s great to have smaller breakable portions for no leftovers, each portion is still WAY less than what an adult cat should eat. So now I give both portions without breaking it since I only give 2 meals daily. And she still finishes it, without breaking, a 2.5g of pate is still less than a 3oz cancan of Fancy Feast so keep that in mind.

MY CATS HAVE LOST IT.
My cats are obsessed with this food, but this is the last time I’m purchasing! Let me explain why… My cats have turned into absolute cr-ckheads for this food. All they care about is when they are going to get their next fix! They are fighting constantly, searching through cabinets. Their behavior changed so drastically. Also they are so easy to just pop the food out and no spoons required which made it so easy :,(

Portions are spot on, plastic seems a bit wasteful, cat mostly likes, a bit expensive
I’d say it’s about 50/50 that my cat eats “all” of it (meaning as much as I can reasonably expect her to suction out of the corners). The portions are right (when using one half), but it does generate a lot of plastic and foil wrappers. Given the ingredients (which aren’t bad but also could be a bit better), I feel the price is a little high. When on sale, I will consider re-buying, otherwise I’m looking at other options (and have purchased other things with better ingredients and/or price in the meantime).

Abby the kitty is the boss and….
Abby the kitty loves this! I will say that I do not give her a whole one on her plate, only half of one is what she gets since for her, it’s too much to give her a whole one but she also has hard food to eat too so this is really just an extra treat for her that she gets about every other day. I know that I do have to waste half of it, but it’s only about a tablespoon that I am wasting as I don’t see the need to save that little bit PLUS Abby does NOT like her wet food cold! I would have to store it in the fridge and she will not eat it cold that is why I switched to perfect portions as I was putting the cans in the fridge with lids and she would not eat them past the day opened. I know I have a picky eater but she is my baby and I will make her happy! I bet if you are reading this I bet you have an “Abby” too! LOL

It’s all about the gravy. A favorite the cats look forward to. Would have loved to keep feeding this formula but had to switch to cans because I got foil cuts a few times opening the packages. Also hard to open because I have less strength in my dominant hand.

Good food but bad packaging
Good prices for quality food that doesn’t make my cats sick. My cats love the food they eat it right up. But sometimes it smells okay and sometimes it smells unbearable. The only real downside is the packaging sometimes the lid is too tight and hard to pull off and then it does and it sprays all over me. Kinda gross but hey the food is good so 4 stars from me.

Really hard to open these!!
Our cat likes them but they are really hard to peel open, and if you manage to peel them the juice gets all over your finders…my husband has the same issue with them and he has stronger hands. Could just be the lot I bought, but I won’t buy them again because of the inconvenience and mess.

Not the best thing for the cats but they absolutely love this. I think they love the flavors most of all because its fishy flavors. Good deal for these, the one side is enough for one serving. The seafood flavors are a bit more expensive than the turkey,chicken one but the cats prefer this one.

Affordable and great ingredients
For a very affordable product, the quality is very good. The ingredients are not processed, and it puts protein first. The servings are easy to see and serve for my kitty, so I don’t need to spend a lot of time portioning out his food. My cat loves the food, and it’s never been dry since I started getting it. Definitely the best wet food for the cost.

My cats crave this food. Delivers the perfect amount twice a day. Must be tasty, not that I’ve tried it myself. Packs can be tricky to open but I use a soft grippy cloth to pry open the foil.

Our Extremely Picky Cat with Hyperthyroidism gives it 5 stars!
My cats love all the flavors we’ve tried from the Sheba Pate Perfect Portions but this Signature Seafood is the favorite of our extremely picky eater — our 18 year old senior cat with hyperthyroidism. She likes wet food without chunks — pate style but it must have a LOT of gravy or broth. This Signature Seafood flavor seems to have the most liquid/broth in it and it’s her favorite. We tried several of the Sheba flavors with her but this is what she consistently ate.We also like that it comes in two smaller portions. This keeps the food fresher for my finicky eater. She rarely eats all of what we put out and once it’s been open and doesn’t smell right she definitely won’t eat it. That’s why the portion sizes of this Sheba have been so fantastic! It keeps it fresh for her and the portion sizes are just right.Since she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, it’s been a chore to find foods our senior cat will eat. She’s hungry but is hard to please. This is one of only 3 foods we can get our 18 year old cat to eat with regularity and we have to rotate those out. Of those, this has been consistently her favorite.She became so finicky a few years ago, and refused to eat nearly everything we tried. We spent hundreds of dollars trying out foods and she got down to 6 pounds. We tried this out of desperation when she suddenly stopped eating the previous food we found that she would eat.Usually she has to be coaxed to eat but once we discovered this she will eat the whole portion and she will ask for more food during the day -which is a miracle for her — instead of us pushing it on her throughout the day.The only con is that when you peel off the top, the liquid drips a bit but that’s a very small drawback for the convenience and practicality of the packaging.

This multipack of Sheba is such a good value for our cats. We have two cats and each of them get one half of the package a day. This is more food per dollar than the previous brand we used and our cats seem to like this one more as well. The ingredients are pretty good and I love that the containers are plastic instead of metal.

My Cats Go Crazy For Sheba
Every Cat I’ve Had (I foster cats) has gone nutso wild for Sheba. They get so excited when they hear the package snap and they meow and purr until they get their pate. The few times I ran out of Sheba and had to pickup (all be it a nice brand) of canned cat food from the grocery store my cats are too snobby to eat any other wet food. I’ve tried so many other brands- fancy, kitty mcdonalds junk food cans, organic, etc. The only one they go crazy for is Sheba. And Sheba is not too bad in terms of nutrition so I am happy to keep feeding it to my cats.

I am so glad I switched to Sheba Cat Food for my feline companion. The variety of flavors, real meat and fish, and individual servings make mealtime a luxurious and satisfying experience.
