My cats seem to like it … even prefer it.
I am a health nut, and of course I want the best for my cats. I know most cat chows first ingredient is corn, which is ok for sustaining life. This chow meets the needs of a chow they will like and eat, is average for health, and will not break the bank for cost. It is cheaper, and tastier, than the others in this price class. And I really don’t know if the expensive designer chows are worth it or that much healthier. Seeing chicken as a first ingredient is good, but those chows are twenty bucks a bag more… when you talk 16 and 22 pounds. So, I do supplement their chow with canned cat foods and fish… tuna… and offer milk products as they choose. I do recommend a healthy omega 3 side dish offered at least once a day for your cats… because omega 3s are a higher quality protein and can build nerve and brain tissue, which omega 6 proteins cannot.

The feral cat eats it, which is terrific. As well, it’s a good little extra to toss out for opossums and raccoons when winter sets in.

My feral cat loves the variety pk. And my cats I’ve had before. Especially the Mariners Catch..friskies brand always smell so fresh and look so juicey…it’s pretty expensive, but then again what isn’t these days..Still a great value for a great quality cat food.

Just what I was looking for
Our older cat refuses to eat other wet cat food. She absolutely loves this set of cat food. Our 1 yr old cat will eat about anything. We give our older cat this food as a treat but not every day. Occasionally we will feed some to some outside cats that come around in the winter time. I will continue to buy so long as the price is reasonable.

I don’t know what this stuff is?
I have been feeding Friskies cat food to a few feral cats in my condo complex for many years, they usually love all of the flavors, including this one but even though it came in a sealed bag, I don’t think it’s the real thing. The pieces seem much brighter in color and there was so much crushed food that the bowls would be half kibble/half powdery crumbs, the cats would only eat very small amounts when they were starving, I rarely had to refill the bowls. I felt bad so I tossed a whole half of a bag out and ordered a new one from Walmart, it was only about $1.00 more and they’re back to eating regularly. I’m ending my subscription and will not buy it here again.

Update the stock photo
22lbs is gigantic, not a box. I saw the box & wasn’t thinking abt how much kibble that is until it showed up and I had to lug it up 2 flights of stairs. They need to have the photo correspond to the amt. Or maybe I need to pay better attn. Between the two, it wouldn’t kill them to update the pic.

I have been giving my cats this food for 15 years and their coats are beautiful and the price will not break you. This shipment has alot of crumbs and doesn’t look fresh like it usually does. It doesn’t look like friskies great quality

Too heavy
Two bags in one box was too heavy for USPS to deliver, so I had to drive to the post office with a pull trolley and pick up the bag myself, drive it home, then carry it into the house. I’m not sure what the shipping cost was, but it was not worth it.

My outside cats won’t eat anything else!
Now I haven’t tasted this myself but my cats will only eat this. If I try to give them another food, they turn their noses up. They eat bugs and bird heads so not sure why their so picky…

They don’t “tear” into It but…
They seem to appreciate the change up from the same flavor for the last 2 years. I feed my cats soft food in one side of the double bowls and dry in the other so they can nibble all day through the night. They consume it completely by next morning. Every cat I had likes this Seafood Sensations.

Picky Older Cat Loves It!
So recently I took in an older cat whom I’ve affectionately named Karen, she’s 9 years old. She’d barely touch the food I was already giving Calvin (1 year and a half) even when I’d mixed it with water. To be fair though, Calvin will vacuum any food if he’s hungry.This is the first time she’s actually eaten all the food throughout the day instead of “tolerating” a few bites and then leaving it for Calvin to finish off. I’ve noticed even Calvin seems to somehow be eating more enthusiastically. She actually waits for food time politely outside of the door…while glaring daggers because how dare I let her food bowl get empty. Overall I rate this 10/10. If you have a picky eater try this.
