To transition your dog to IAMS, mix your dog’s current food with IAMS. Over 4 days, gradually decrease the amount of the current food while increasing the amount of IAMS to avoid digestive issues.

IAMS puppy food is recommended for dogs under 1-2 years old. Over 2 years old, it’s recommended that your dog is fed adult IAMS food. Dogs over 7 years old should be fed IAMS Healthy Aging food for senior dogs. This can differ by breed size.
Feeding your dog both IAMS wet food and IAMS dry kibble with a combined or mixed feeding approach can offer a variety of flavors and textures that your dog may enjoy and also offers the benefits of both products in a single meal.
