    This Brush Rules!

I wanted to use it for a bit before leaving a review, but wow. It works as well as most dog hair brushes, but because of the roller function, I get my furniture clean in a third of the time. I use it a few times a day because I have three big golden retrievers, and my couches always look like they were cleaned professionally. Hopefully this sucker will last a long time. I love it. Bravo.

Does what it says, not too easy to appreciate how to use at first

This is definitely a far better option to use than the old school sticky roller type. I at first failed to appreciate the correct way to use. But once I reviewed a video here on Amazon I realized that the way I was using it was wrong. Rather than just rolling it like most lint rollers I found that a aggressive back and forth motion applying some force worked perfect. As such this really doesn’t work well with clothing whether your wearing it or not (it’s doable just requires both hands to do such). The amount of fur/hair/debris that is picked up and easily disposed of is amazing. My only recommendation would be to open up the device and remove the contents away from you and your vehicle/house as the hair and fur retains a certain amount of static cling and as such makes it more likely that you’ll have some contamination if not careful.

    Yeahhh. This is the one!

So, I have a cat and I have a husky, and they both shed like crazy. Before we were using regular lint rollers, but they were too small and we went through the sheets so quickly. Then I bought a large lint roller that was specifically made for pets, but it wasn’t as sticky and we also went through sheets quicker with that, I don’t know how I came across this thing right here, but this is that! It’s so easy to use and it can hold a good amount before you dump it and it’s so good! plus I’m saving money on lint rollers. The only thing that I don’t like is the button that opens it up, it’s so easy to open it up while you’re trying to use/roll it. I would definitely change that to a smaller button or a shorter button or something that’s not easily Triggered while using it. I also wish it were a little bigger but it’s a good size and overall I love it and I highly recommend if you have pets.

    It works!

Five minutes after opening the box I put it to work. Easily cleaned kitchen chairs where cats love to sleep. Also tackled the recliner in the other room that one of the cats loves to sleep on. This worked quickly and it is so much more convenient than getting the electric vacuume out multiple times a week. Exactly what I was looking for. Hoping this will hold up for a long time!

It absolutely works, but wears fabric

There’s no denying this product works very well. I’ve been using it for years on the same couch, and it still works almost as well as day one. The one huge caveat I will say is that, at least on my couch, it has clearly caused pilling and wear on the fabric over the years. ironically, that wear seems to attract more hair than it did before I started using the device at all. Regardless, if pet hair is a big issue, nothing works better than this.

Very useful tool to remove pet hair on clothes

My white hair German Shepherd sheds her hair year round. She loves to come and sit right next to me. For a long time, I stayed away from wearing dark clothes. Until I happened to see an advertisement about this brush. I bought it and it literraly remove all her hair on my pants. I used an old toothbrush to remove the hair off the roller itself. Voila, it’s good as new.

    Works as expected!

We have three cats and I was looking for a better solution to remove fur off my couch. It works quite well and I’m satisfied. I especially like that it doesn’t use disposables. As a bonus, I discovered that it removes fur from a soft blanket that I’d been struggling to get fur off of. I almost threw it away, but now I won’t have to thanks to this little gadget.

I never write reviews – but this thing is a game changer

I had this in my cart forever before I hit checkout. It seemed expensive for what it was. I can now say that is not the case. Although the device is simple, it’s a game changer if you have pets that shed. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Labrador and the vacuum does quite do the trick on my rugs or couches – this little thing gets everything left behind.

    Better than anything I’ve tried

I have two of my own cats, and live with two other cats and three dogs. Pet hair is a way of life at this point. I have tried many, many things to remove shed hair from clothes, beds, and couches/chairs. They all have a downside: makes a mess while it cleans, wasteful sticky sheets, takes a lifetime to use, or they simply don’t work. As long as the surface you are using this on is pulled tight so there’s no folds or slack, this works and it works well and quickly with no waste. I hesitated to buy it because of the price and how cheaper items just didn’t work well, so when it went on sale I bought it. I regret waiting for the sale, only because I was really surprised at how well this weirdly named product worked. Only downside: it is a bit noisy, so it scares my cats, but it’s the price they pay for covering everything I own in cat hair.

    We love this thing!

I ordered it on Amazon prime day on somebody’s recommendation. One of our cats laid on my husband’s black Carhart jacket and got it HAIRY. This got it right off. I also love it for our microfiber bar stools. I was using a special attachment on our vacuum. No more! Since it’s so easy, the bar stools will get cleaned every day or two versus just when I’m vacuuming.

    Works as advertised

This works like it’s supposed to and has lasted for months. The slider gets rid of the fur clinging to the velveteen surface within one-two seconds. I have a long haired large dog and the tape rollers, vacuums and traditional roller brushes don’t get fur off blankets and cloth furniture very easily. The Chom Chom slider trap for the fur is brilliant, I can get large couches and chairs clean in just a few quick minutes. The cleaning tray is easy to swipe out all of the fur over the trash bin without it flying everywhere. Would buy again. One quibble for the manufacture to improve: the opener latch for the trap is situated close to where the thumb naturally rests, so it’s easy to accidentally open up during use.

I was skeptical……and wrong about this

I’ve used what feels like a million different rollers over the years, tape, material and otherwise and there are many things rollers just don’t work on, like the bedspread that my cats spend all of their time with. I procrastinated a few days but opened it today. I started out in a spot where one of my cats was spending a lot of time, but I hadn’t even noticed hair there. This thing found a TON of hair I didn’t even know about. I moved onto my bedspread and was stunned to see how well it works. Suffice it to say, I’m a convert and about to buy several as presents now.

An unusual device that takes getting used to

Don’t expect the brush to rotate in the handle; it only moves slightly one way or the other! The directions on using the brush on a surface are minimal at best. They show you how to clean it just fine. It is an odd concept to grasp, but surprisingly it works! I am still determining how long it will work, but it works now for me.Suggestion: place the brush head on the surface to be cleaned and quickly move it back and forth over each surface area. Keep reorienting the angle of the brush head as you move it back and forth. This action results in the storage compartment quickly filling with hair and fuzz. Next, take a moment to scratch your head and try to figure out when and how that hair was picked up. The ends of the brush can be used to pick up lint and hair from around any upholstery button dimples that are present. Overall, this tool is a keeper.

    Soft under-fluff?! Get it.

One of my kitties in particular leaves his soft under-fluff everywhere he goes, particularly on our couch. The couch is about the same color as him so I can’t really see the fluff until we put something black or a lint roller to it. The Chom Chom works SO WELL at getting up his soft hair. I have allergic friends that visit so I try to do everything I can to mitigate the fur as to not irritate them if we can help it. This also works on jeans or thicker jackets. T-shirts are too soft unless someone hold it taut while another uses chom chom. Also works well on short carpet or the carpet on their cat tree. Super easy to clean the hair out of the tool, too. I don’t have dogs, but I feel like this would work also well for those wiry short hairs like a boxer or pittie.

    Worth the Hype

Had this for a few months now and it is a life saver. I have short, fine hared dogs that shed a lot. I would vacuum and lint roll the couch to no avail. With in seconds of using this majority of hair went away, even deep embedded ones. It does not get 100% percent of the hair, maybe it would if I spent a lot of time, but for 5 minutes over the whole couch it easily gets about 90% and I am always amazed at how much I clean out of the trap. I was afraid it would pill my couch with running it back and forth but I use it at least once a week and haven’t had any pilling.

    TikTok Made Me Buy It

saw this all over tiktok and needed something new to clean up my pet hair. i have another pet hair scraper that i love to really dig into my carpet to pull the pet hair out but this thing does it well for when the pet hair is sitting on top of fabric. i use it on my bedding to make my comforter look nice after making my bed and ive used it on my couch and recliner. it works good but i dont think i really needed it for my cats, maybe someone with dogs would use it more or someone with diff fabric furniture

    Works great!

This thing works great! Even the edge of my curtains, where our cats enter and exit the window ledge, came clean. I had used probably 10 sheets of a regular sticky roller on this area and couldn’t even tell. Then I remembered seeing this roller on almost every “must have” list of house cleaning products. I went downstairs and immediately ordered it. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Works exactly as advertised. The only thing that I would change is the location of the release button. I have released the lid a few times on accident with my thumb. I’ll just call that ‘user error’. And it’s not like hair goes flying out of it when I do. I’ve had it for about 12 hours now and have already recommended it to all of my friends with pets. Also, there is a ‘how to use’ video online. I know it seems pretty self-explanatory, but the video will show you that you get best results from going back and forth quite vigorously. Happy Chomming!

A godsend for any pet owner

This device is a miracle worker. We have 2 dogs, so I vacuum our area rugs 2 to 3 times a week. Our vacuum picks up most of their hair but I always could see little remnants left behind. After 10 minutes with this handheld device, and quickly doing a scrub of one of our area rugs it pulled out SO MUCH dog hair and dirt that was just caked into the rug after 3 years of wear and tear – the rug looks like new! I cannot recommend this product enough! Buy it asap!!!

Easy to use and removes hair nicely

I got the orange cat chom chom for the cat hair that gets all over my blankets and clothes. I love that I don’t have to get a lint roller anymore for my blankets and rug. I will say it is a little harder to get the hair off of clothes that you are wearing (a lint roller would work better on clothes that you are wearing). But if it’s on a flat surface, it gets all the hair. Just being a little nitpicky, when you go to throw away the hair out of the chom chom. Some chunks of cat hair will get stuck on the sides of (inside) the chom chom, so it’s not one clean swipe to get the hair out. But I am very happy with the chom chom!!

    Safe on fabric!

I love this! I have a long hair black cat that sleeps in my bed on my white comforter which is an absolute nightmare to wash that frequently because its so thick and the washer just ends up leaving clumps of hair still stuck to it anyway. I used other pet hair scraper things to try to make hair management easier, but they pulled the threads in my comforter with every stroke and ruined my stuff. This is gentle on my bedding and very effective. I got a huge layer of hair up in seconds with no damage! HIGHLY recommend.

This IS a NECESSITY in life!

I’ve been wanting this product for quite some time- I have 2 dogs that shed 24/7, one has long black hair and the other has short golden hair. As soon as the package came I immediately went to businesses on my couch, and bed. Worked amazingly!I was then curious of how it would work on the dog bed- which I’ve deemed the most difficult dog bed in existence to clean due to the texture. Typically I take it outside to shake off first, then vacuum with 2 different attachments for the hose. I have to use the vacuum on the lowest setting or else the fabric gets sucked up, so in the end the bed is never actually hair free.Well let me just tell ya, my mind was completely blown with the outcome!!! That bed hasn’t looked this clean since the day it arrived here! I’m not joking or exaggerating at all. I’m so glad I took before and after pics. Also, I rarely ever leave reviews, so clearly I’m amazed by this product- especially seeing how much I’ve bragged about it so far lolThe ONLY thing I’m not a fan of is the placement of the button to release the lint chamber. I kept accidentally opening it up while using- but I’m sure that’s a ME problem and could get used to holding the handle differently.Overall, I highly recommend this product and plan on purchasing at least one more to keep in my car. Not sure if there’s a smaller version to use on clothes- but if there is I will certainly be purchasing that asap. 😁

    I was pleasantly surprised

I had bought this not thinking it would work well, but desperate, as I have two pugs that shed. I now recommend this brush to all our family and friends. It saves so much money over the sticky tape lint rollers. Easy to use and clean. It has greatly reduced our dog hair on our bedding and furniture. I would buy this again and it is the only fur picker upper I have tried that I am saying this about. I do still use the sticky tape rollers for clothes that I am wearing but this brush for everything else!

The chom chom is amazing. It really works

I have two 75 plus pound black lab/shepherd mixes that shed. Enough said. The chom chom picks up the dog hair from bedding and linens faster than a vacuum and way better than the old sticky rollers. The design is so simple yet extremely effective. I wish the plastic was a little thicker on the handle because this could be used daily in my household or after everytime the dogs jump on the bed, which is pretty much daily.

    Great for Guinea Pig fur

I bought this to help with the amount of guinea pig hair that ends up in my washer since I use fleece liners for their cage. The Chom Chom isn’t really made for non-stationary items like blankets, but it works well enough that from just one liner I am removing large wads of fur. It doesn’t get everything and I didn’t expect it to, but it gets a lot of it, so there is much less fur going in my washer. I recommend it for other piggie owners.

    This is a life changer!

I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but this product is so amazing that I had to share. I have a flat coat retriever that sheds quite a bit. Cleaning dog hair off carpets and furniture is a constant battle. Historically, I would use a traditional lint roller and would have to tear off a layer after each swipe and nearly use an entire roll. Those days are gone! This pet hair remover is super easy to use, removes hair in one swipe and is easy to clean. I will be telling all of my friends about it.

    This thing is great!

I wish it picked up lint as well as it picked up cat hair, but works wonders on the couch/recliner/etc. Will still need to purchase sticky lint rollers for clothes but very handy for the stairs! My only negative is the button you push to empty it is right where your thumb naturally sits while using it. So sometimes I accidentally pop it open while using it. Not a big deal- just have to pay attention to what I’m doing

    Really works

I keep a sheet on my bed for my dog to sleep on. I have used an Oxo furlifter/garment brush for more than 3 years. The OXO was so dirty and the dog hair didn’t come off the brush well. This works. Every week I have to remove the dog hair from the sheet before I wash it. I was skeptical but it does work! I’ll have to see how it holds up. The OXO lasted 3-4 years.

    This thing is magic

I bought one a few years back and it’s still going strong. It pulls up so much hair and is so easy to clean and empty.I gifted one to my bestie who has a black lab. He sheds enough to stuff a cushion every other day and she loves this product. It’s the best product for removing hair and you will probably never need to get another one. If you’re on the fence, get it. Worth every penny!

Works awesome when you use it correctly

Per the wife: I finally went ahead and bought one–got tired of all of the waste from a tear-off, stickyn tape lint roller.Husband didn’t like it, but after looking at the roller one day I suspected he wasn’t using it entirely correctly, so I showed him the correct technique. If you want a better chance of really getting something out of this item WATCH THE BRAND VIDEO to help find out how to use it.

REALLY GOOD… Shockingly does what it’s supposed to

I saw this at the top of a few ratings blogs, so I went with it. It really works very well. My Akita has super fine hair that’s melded with my couch, and it picked all that right up. But manufacturer… if you’re listening… YOU NEED TO PUT THE RELEASE BUTTON IN A DIFFERENT SPOT. It’s kinda easy to accidentally pop open the hair trap. It’s a very minor thing, but I have big hands and the handle isn’t large, so its annoyingly easy to do on accident.

    game changer

I love the chomp chomp hair remover. I feel a lot of satisfaction after using it on furniture, though it is not super effective on clothes because it is not sticky. regardless, if pet hair on furniture is something you struggle with, and you want to feel really satisfied removing hair from your furniture, I recommend. I even bought it for my cousin for her birthday because she has two cats.

    WOW

Wasn’t really expecting what I got. Tape on a roller has been the go to for years. Run it back and forth a couple times, find the corner of tape, peel off the old, repeat. The Chom Chom, you run it back and forth a couple times and the hair is gone. You reach for the corner of the tape…it’s not there! I love that I don’t have to keep buying refills. I’ve had a much better relationship with the cat since I’ve bought this!

    Very effective!

We had some thick cat hair left behind on some outdoor furniture. We’d tried several other methods, and nothing got it off – until the Chom Chom! It did take some elbow grease and many passes, but ultimately it was the only thing that did the job. We had been thinking we’d have to recover the cushions on this furniture, but now we can use it again as-is!

    Don’t buy anything else…

Just got this today and used it on a rug that has been vacuumed by an older Dyson vacuum. This thing is amazing and definitely replaces anything else that I won’t need to buy again to combat pet hair. Had to empty it 3 times on a 5 ft by 8 ft rug. Definitely wish it was a little bit cheaper, maybe in the $10-$15 range so I could buy more to keep one in my car as well. Only bought it on a cyber Monday sale though.

    Great for pet hair

I have a cattle dog who sheds! I used to go through the sticky rollers which never got hair off and doesn’t tear right. This you just roll back on forth, on clothes, furniture bedding etc and picks up the hair and you just empty the container. Fast and easy. Does a great job on getting short course hair dogs which is very difficult to get up

    Truly amazing! BUY IT!!!

I have tried EVERY type of lint remover out there. The sticky reusable one that claimed to be the best was a dud. Didn’t pick up much and after cleaning the roller was barely sticky. Needless to say I was a little skeptical of all the 5 star reviews on this particular one. But this one….WOW!!! This thing works like gang busters. After what I thought was thoroughly vacuuming the runner near my front door I used this lint roller. I was stunned at how much dog hair it picked up. All I can say is WOW! The clean up after was just as easy. Open the top and remove the hair. BUY THIS!!!

    Holy Cat Fur Batman!!!!

OMG! Where has this been my entire life? This product delivers the results! Like so many other pet owners I have tried so many products to deal with the left over long hair cat fur they that leave everywhere. Some were awful and some worked okay but not great… Right out of the box I headed to the light colored bedspread/comforter. Amazingly clean!!! This tool probably even works on the fur they haven’t even grown yet (kidding!). Remember that you need to roll it in both directions for the best results. Don’t second guess yourself just BUY IT!

    Amazing little tool!

Okay, so I was a little skeptical after the first one I received broke 30 seconds after I took it out of the box, but holy cow, is this thing amazing! I have two dogs that both shed a great deal and dog hair is something I battle with on a daily basis, especially on the furniture. This little gadget picks up all the hair without me having to drag out the vacuum and it empties with ease. It even easily took the dog hair off my comforter and I have even used it on my clothes. It’s light, easy to store and an absolute MUST HAVE for furry pet owners!!!

    This thing is magic!

It works incredibly well!! Use it all the time to get cat hair off my clothes before heading out of the house. Works well on fabrics and couches and rugs! Truly an incredible invention. Only drawback is that the little latch to open the hair compartment is a little too easy to open/located in a bad place, so the little hair compartment often pops open while cleaning. I have to cover the latch with my hand to hold it closed while using it, but still works great!

    It really works!

I’ve tried things like this before and they didn’t work. So I’ve been spending around $8 a month for large lint rollers, and that only cleans my bed. This roller brush actually works. It takes less time and in 2 months it will more than pay for itself, and there are no sticky sheets to throw away. If you have a cat you should buy this.

  41. BR

    Better than expected!

I wasn’t sure how well this would work. I just knew I was tired of using lent rollers that required removing a layer at a time as the roller accumulates hair. As soon as I received it, I went to work on my steps (we have a two story home). Our vacuum is too heavy to constantly cart up and down the steps and I wasn’t willing to drop a pretty penny on a mini vacuum (I’m cheap, no shame). This turned out to be a great option. We have two cats and get our carpets cleaned 3-4 times a year. This will definitely come in handy in between cleanings. A couple of negatives: the design is a little bulky and doesn’t work as well around the sides and edges of the steps. I had to use my fingers for that. There’s a good bit of real estate that, with a better design, could be utilized to rectify this issue. Not sure if the creators will do such. Also, the button you press to empty it after using is not in a good place. I found myself naturally putting my thumb on that exact spot and accidently opening such and had to learn to move my thumb further forward to prevent it from happening. The button needs to be moved but I’m honestly not sure where else they could move it. After finish just our steps, I had enough fur to begin building an entirely new cat, LOL! Works great for fur but didn’t do as well picking up pieces of carpet threads or smaller bits and pieces of things (miniature rocks, dry cat food, etc). Overall, I’m please with the purchase and hope it lasts for a while.

I was 100% skeptical, but no – It’s the best thing!

To start this off, I very seldom leave reviews AND I was so skeptical about this working the way it (and many others) say it does. But I have 3 Huskies and an anxiety disorder, so cutting down on the fur was important.I’ve seen the Chom-Chom before and read the reviews, but I just couldn’t see myself paying full price when I was skeptical of how effective it was.Anyway, on Black Friday, it was on sale and so let’s go! And it is everything I was hoping it would be. Paying for lint roller sheets isn’t sustainable and when my girls are shedding, I just needed MORE. The Chom-Chom easily rollers across the surface and collects the fur into the little compartment. I use it several times a day on my bed and sofa and it’s greatly cut down on the fur (thank goodness). They are 100% worth it, but why not use the tools out there?Long story short, this thing is truly amazing and I recommend you give it a try!* I didn’t receive anything for this review

I have spent so much money on sticky rollers that don’t even work well. After reading so many great reviews about the ChomChom roller, I decided to give it a try. I first tried it on my comforter, which had a lot of cat fur on it, and sticky rollers did nothing. The brush attachment on my vacuum did nothing. The ChomChom picked up every strand of hair! It was amazing! Then, I used it on my sofa and on my cats’ igloos. More amazing results! I had one issue, but it’s not any fault of the roller. I live in an area with very low humidity, so there’s a lot of static electricity, everywhere, all the time. I can’t even use disposable type dusters to remove dust from my furniture because the static just pulls the dust right back to the furniture . When I emptied the ChomChom, some fur stuck to the outside casing of the roller because of the static. I just used a slightly dampened paper towel to remove the few hairs that remained after emptying the bin. I can’t wait to tell all my friends that have fur babies about the ChomChom. I am so glad I discovered it!

    It actually works

I really like this PetHairGone.I foster pups for a local rescue so I always have to deal with dog hair. I have tried every lint/hair remover that I have seen over the years. I have yet to find one that works like this one.I read the reviews before I bought it so I have to say I wasn’t expecting much. I read several reviews that stated the hair stuck to the brush, or the hair did not go into the dust trap. (Not sure what to call it) When I first opened it, and I used it on my couch I found what the reviews stated was true. But after looking at it, I realized it’s the back-and-forth action that removes the hair off the roller and deposits in the dust trap.I did the cushions on my couch in minutes. And they are dog hair free!!!Now I just got it today. If something changes I’ll update this review but I have to say right now I love it.I don’t see how it can work on clothes though. Due to the fact that you have to go back-and-forth and I can’t imagine any fabric other than maybe 100% cotton that it would work on but that’s just me thinking, I didn’t try it.

    Works as advertised!

I haven’t taken any before or after pics, but it works!! You just roll it up and down a surface and it picks up the pet hair!! I’ve used it on the bed, the couch, and the cat tree! I knew when I saw it it was something I wanted to have handy since we have 2 long hair cats and 1 shorthair. It’s very easy to use and when you press the button it pops open so that you can clean it out. One thing I will say is that trying to get every hair and fuzzy from the container is a little bit frustrating, but I’m still very satisfied because at least I can clean out the majority, even if a few hairs get left in the cannister. Overall a great purchase! I recommend it to anyone that has pets that shed. It works better than vacuuming hair off of surfaces, or using tape or a lint roller, and it’s very quick!!

A Must Have for Pet Parents

I have two very large dogs who are super shedders so I will literally try just about any hair removing device on the market. I saw a review for the Chom Chom Pet Hair Removed on a NYT Wirecutter article and thought I would give it a shot. I tested this device on my sofa and found that it works shockingly well at picking up both pet hair and human hair – however, you shouldn’t expect it to eliminate it 100%. To do a thorough cleaning job I still needed to follow up with a vacuum.I did find that there is a bit of a learning curve, and it is a bit stiff straight out of the box. As opposed to a lint roller that you roll in a continuous motion, you have to push/pull the Chom Chom back and forth to let it pick up the hair and deposit it into the collection chamber – so I would be a bit hesitant to use it on more delicate fabrics, especially ones that might pill easily. All in all, the Chom Chom is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone fighting the good pet hair fight.

Do yourself a favor and buy it. Life is so much easier.

I’ve had furry pets all my life; I love them but wish their fur would stay on them, which as anyone with such a pet knows, it does not. I have indoor rabbits, who molt (i.e. deposit their whole coat on my floor/clothes) twice a year and shed in-between. I have one dark grey and one light grey, and white fosters, so there is no color on which the fur goes unnoticed. I’ve tried every brand of sticker-sheet lint roller known to man, and on a given day would probably use 2-5 sheets esp. with my black shirt uniform. To make matters worse, my current two rabbits are petrified of the vacuum, meaning they hide in the closet the next 8 (not exaggerating) hours, and rabbits can die of fear so it ramps up my anxiety too. So, my floor became more fur than rug. I came across this device 8 months ago in search of “extra extra EXTRA sticky rollers” and there were too many good reviews to resist ordering it. It is AMAZING. Use short, quick strokes back and forth, and it grabs ALL the fur and lint. In the photos, the balls of fur came from only the section of carpet and the bed shown. To test, I’ve used this on sections of carpet and then gone over it with the vacuum and the vacuum grabs nothing. In fact, I often have to go over the carpet less times if I use this than using my Bissell. I use it on my bedroom rugs, fabric furniture, comforter, clothes laid out on my bed, clothes while I’m wearing them (this actually works better than trying to hold them laid out), the rabbits’ bedding before I throw it in the wash…honestly sometimes I’ll clean part of the carpet just for the satisfaction of seeing how much fur it picks up. I still have lint rollers around but it’s nice to not be generating all that waste constantly, and it’s more than paid for itself.TLDR: It’s a game-changer, just buy it.

There’s life before Chom Chom, and life after

I have two questions: why did I wait so long to purchase this, and what are you waiting for? I have four cats, including a long-haired one, and there is SO. MUCH. CAT. HAIR. I’ve always used lint rollers. Of course that adds up and repurchasing is a pain sometimes. Thanks to Tiktok, I became aware of this Chom Chom roller. However, I couldn’t justify spending $30.00+ on this, and didn’t. I had this on a wish list for at least a year. I finally purchased this while it was on sale several months ago, and I’m so happy I did. My main concern was hair on my bed and couches, and it does a great job at getting them off. It definitely only works on large, flat, open areas, as you have to move the roller back and forth some for the hair to pick up. I’m still purchasing lint rollers for my clothes and small things, but this has been a lifesaver. Would I go back and pay full price, though? Probably not. It does seem to go on sale a bit, so I would recommend to wait till it’s at least $20.00.

    Chom Chom Reusable Lint Roller

I have multiple pets in my home and I have the daily task of vacuuming and cleaning to remove pet hair from my furniture.I used to use the tape lint rollers to remove hair from my clothing and my furniture. As you know, these lint rollers can become expensive over time and there is a lot of waste with throwing away the used tape after collecting the hair. I searched on Amazon to find an alternative to the tape lint roller and what I found was a game changer for me!ChomChom pet hair remover and reusable lint roller has completely changed how I deal with my pet hair situation. You can also use the ChomChom as a lint roller as well . It works on clothing and on your seats in your car too.I can’t say enough about this product other than I will never be without a ChomChom again! The felt on the roller is reusable and the roller cleans itself off when you roll it back and forth. It almost seems like magic but it’s not. It has to do with the static electricity that is cause when you open and shut the slider on the roller. This action causes the hair to come off the roller and gets deposited into this chamber behind the handle. Then you open the chamber up and take all the hair out to throw away and the ChomChom is ready to use again. I was amazed at how much invisible hair I removed with this product. I was testing it out on what I thought was a clean couch to see how the roller functioned and when I opened the chamber, it was filled with hair that I didn’t even know was there.

    Game changer

I have a short haired dog that sheds like no other. No amount of grooming can keep it at bay. She’s part of the fam and always goes on the couch. I have a couch that is a woven material and it literally collects attracts and holds onto any amount of dog hair it can . The chom chom is such a life saver. I quickly use it daily and the amount of hair I pull off the couch is unreal. I love that it isn’t wasteful and you don’t have a bunch of lint sheets to manage . This thing works so well! Put it in your cart immediately! (Side note if you want to use it on your clothes like a lint roller I don’t think that worked as well for me ) works well on flat large surfaces )

    It really works!!!

I actually tried to cancel this order and buy a product that looked the exact same but cost less than half as much but was unable to. I’m glad I was unable to because this has unbelievably been working like crazy on my upholstered furniture my cat likes to reside on. It’s easy to use, just roll it back and forth on whatever it is (like other reviews be careful not to hit the button that opens the fur holder) and it picks up a remarkable amount of fur. It doesn’t work unless you make sure the surface is flat-I just pull the fabric until it’s smooth enough to roll over. What I thought might be a scam isn’t and I’m happy with everything but the price point which still seems a bit high to me.

WOW! I can’t believe how well this works!

This was recommended to me on Prime days, and I debated long and hard whether to get it. Seemed like a lot of money for just another gadget to remove cat hair, but the reviews were so positive that I decided to give it a try. All I can is that I’m thinking about buying more for all my family members who have pets. This thing is amazing! I went to the cats’ favorite recliner, which no one wants to sit in because it is always so matted with cat hair, and started “chomping.” Let me say that I vacuum this chair regularly using the pet hair attachment, and it takes me a good 10 minutes to get the chair serviceable, but I’ve never been able to get it all. Within 30 seconds of “chomping” I had the seat looking almost like new, and the roller was full. Popped it open, cleaned out the hair (so quick and easy!), started again. Took me less than 5 minutes to do the entire chair, including cleaning the roller 3 different times, and it even got down in the creases better than I expected – definitely better than the vacuum cleaner. This gadget now has a permanent home right by the front door so we can quickly clean cat hair off anything in the living room at any time (especially handy for unexpected guests). I will note that we own 2 cats, one short hair and one medium hair, so we don’t have the same issues as long-haired cats, but I don’t think short hair is any easier to clean than long hair, just not quite as obvious. If you are on the fence about this thing, go ahead and get it. It works so well that I would pay full price if I had to!

Actually works, I’m a bit surprised

Being a pet owner, I’ve tried a wide variety of lint/hair remover products over the years. The standard sticky paper sheets on a roller generally work pretty well, and are still probably the best to remove every small hair off clothing. But this roller is amazing when it comes to furniture or any large, stable surface. The issue is it seems to remove hair only with a back and forth motion. If your surface moves when you roll back and forth over it (like clothing), then it the roller doesn’t work. But for chair seats, couches, dog beds, etc., it’s really removes the hair quickly and it’s easy enough to clean. You do have to pull out the lint/hair like emptying a vacuum (It can be a bit dusty), but it’s reusable, so you’re not throwing away a million sheets of sticky paper. Definitely worth the purchase!

    Wish I Found This Sooner!

The product is amazing! The image shown is two-day’s worth of hair on my cat tree. He sheds a lot, but with this product it takes it so much away in a matter of seconds. Its big size makes removing hair on large surfaces like bed sheets or jeans so much easier. It’s downside is it cannot get into narrow spaces.I use this roller on my clothes too and it removes most of the obvious hair, if not all. (Be careful on delicate fabrics as the use of this thing is rough.) The smaller hairs you’ll have more trouble removing, but that is because most of my wardrobe and furniture is black and I’m basing it off on that.I’ve tried sticky rollers and silicone ones, and both turned out to be terribly disappointing as they lasted very little and remove much less. This ChomChom roller at least is fun to use and I use it daily. If you’ve searched for a reliable roller like I have, this is the one to get!(P.S. If you’re looking to save money on your cat, change their litter for horse bedding pellets.)

    This thing is amazing!

Ok So I have a black Golden Shepherd (German Shepherd & Golden Retriever purebred mix) and Good Lord does she shed! I mean I find her hair EVERYWHERE! It is amazing the dog has any fur coat left! Anyway, we brush her daily, we vacuum, I have even tried dog shampoo intended to help with shedding :/ I have also tried many lint/hair removal type things but she has so much long hair around that it works for a second and then I have to clean it or it won’t pick up much….but what’s awesome about this product is it is longer, rolls, and has the little squeegees along with the lint/hair trapping fabric and as it moves it traps her hair (and lint..and occasionally my long hair ok..we are a hairy family 😬) and then pushes the hair and debris into an compartment for easy removal. The whole back of it is the empty compartment for debris. I rolled my bed, our couch, her dog bed and a rug and it picked up everything and kept it in the compartnent nicely (still had lots of room left to trap more hair btw) and stayed there until I cleaned it out. Worked on multiple surfaces just fine. Love it! Do they sell a long handled one for the floor? Like for our wood floors? Short of shaving our dog bald (tempting at times 😑), this is a must have if there are any hairy creatures in your home or car. Seriously. Buy this. I think I will purchase another one for my car and possibly consider making wigs from all my dog’s beautiful hair…🤣 Thank you to whomever designed this. You seriously helped my anxiety just a little bit and made clean ups easier!

    Best pet hair remover… ever!

I have always had at least one dog and I’m used to coping with some dog hair, but I’ve never allowed dogs on the furniture and I also think that my dogs all had hair that was fairly easy to remove.Fast forward to 2012, and I am in a second marriage with 3 kids. The last “not on furniture” dog died and we got a new dog named Zara. Hubs grew up in a house that allowed dogs on the furniture so when we saw that that Zara was able to jump on the furniture we had to make a decision. We did it the good ol’ American way and put it to a vote. Hubs and all three girls voted to let the dog on the furniture, much to my dismay. Worse, Zara’s hair is like nothing I’ve seen before… once it gets onto cloth, most of the time it clings to the point that the hairs have to be pulled out individually. Vacuuming, tape-style lint rollers, a Gleener depiller, velcro balls in the washer/dryer, Bounce pet hair dryer sheets … they all leave a lot behind.Fast forward to 2020 and not only am I at my wits’ end with the dog hair, but all three kids are grown women and none of us likes that we can’t sit on the furniture without having to get out a hand-held vacuum and vacuum the dog hair off the back of each others’ pants.Fast forward one last time to last week when I finally decided to get this Chom Chom gadget. I am ASTOUNDED at how well it works. I think the secret is with the little squeegee on the roller. I’ve tried using a squeegee on carpet before and it really does work, but it is unwieldy, cannot easily be done in more than one direction, and it must be done with a vacuum nearby to gather whatever gets pulled up. Also, then the squeegee ends up with pet hair on it so it needs to be cleaned before it gets put back into service for cleaning glass. With the Chom Chom, you get the benefit of the squeegee, but since it is on the roller, it is easier to do back/forth strokes. And then as for how the dog hair gets off the roller and into the hair collection chamber… maybe it is sorcery? I have no idea how that works but IT DOES!!In full honesty, I still have to do extra strokes to get all of Zara’s hair (it gets our other dog’s “easy hair” on the first swipe), but the amount that the Chom Chom picks up relative to the number of passes I have to make over the fabric is unbelievable!Once the chamber is full, I use a handheld vac to remove the hair and then it is ready to go again! The only downsides that I can see are:- Some dog hair gets trapped in the side hinges of the door to the collection chamber and has to be pulled out with the fingers. It is possible that if I cleaned it before it got SO FULL, that problem would go away, but we just have SO MUCH dog hair and the gadget is so effective that I would be emptying every couple of minutes.- The button to open the collection chamber door is right where I place my thumb for strength so I tend to pop it open when I am doing the actual rolling task (I seem to have this problem with a lot of products that have a button in the center, so that might be a “me” problem.)- The chom chom is 7.5″ wide which is excellent for cleaning furniture, but a narrower version would be better for clothing, especially when the dog hair gets on the clothes while they’re being worn and it would be impractical to remove the clothes (e.g., if you get dog hair on your black pants when you ride in your co-worker’s car to lunch during the workday.)BOTTOM LINE: I have had this little gadget for less than a week and have already recommended it to several people and wrote this review while I was looking to see if they had a narrower model for my car/office/coat closet. I wish I had owned this years ago, and I would 100% buy it again.

It’s too good to be true

I never write reviews for Amazon products, but I was compelled to share how insanely amazing this is! I have a German shepherd golden retriever mix with a ton of fur and unfortunately, we took in a rescue cat that has ringworm and now me, the dog, and my three cats have it. It’s imperative that I constantly clean up loose fur while the animals are being treated to prevent reinfection, so I went on the hunt really to deal w house fur but also his little doggy hammock we use in the backseat of the car (to protect my seats). It gets so covered w the fur and even washing and drying doesn’t help. Enter this tool! Holy cow! It’s like pure magic! I’m not sure if this will work after cleaning it …. I plan on soaking it in solution to disinfect and prevent spreading spores later, but even if it doesn’t I play on buying another one. This should be in every household with pets!!!! I’m blown away!

Removes cat hair easily and thoroughly

Watch the video on how to use it.I think it works great and I’ve had several kinds over the years. I use it on bedspreads, furniture, curtains, … all over the house, but not so great on clothes … for clothes I stick with the rolls of tape (pun intended).Only con, it’s a little messy to empty, I may be doing it wrong but I have to use my fingers to pull the fur and lint out. No big deal. I’ve purchased another one so I can keep one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

This thing is amazing and will save me over $150 a year on Sticky Rollers!

If it were a 10 point scale I’d give it a 9.The description clearly mentions that it won’t work on overly smooth surfaces like hard flooring or “no pile” office carpet, and that’s correct, so don’t expect that.I use it nightly on a queen size bedspread before going to bed, because I have a Husky that occupies that space during the day. I would average ~4 sheets of the wide pet type 3M rolls nightly. Which adds up dollar-wise!It takes a bit of getting used to compared to a sticky roller; you will exert a bit more energy and learning/getting a sense of how fast the pad fills up and then “reversing stroke” to clear that pad and work the other pad, but it becomes second nature. My nitpicking of anything is that it’s real easy to unlatch the chamber while using, and some concern about the lifespan of the pads without being able to replace them. But even if it fails in 2 months, I’ve already broken even cost wise, so I’m going to give this a run!

    It really works!

My friend told me this product changed her life and she wouldn’t be able to survive without it. Guess what? She’s right! I don’t know how it does it, but the Chom Chom works perfectly! It allows me to whisk dog hair off the furniture with a few swift swipes. I roll it across my bedspread in the morning, and the hair just disappears like magic. It’s nothing fancy, but it seriously works, and the hair is easy to dispose of. I strongly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from large amounts of fluff on their furniture, etc. It really is a life changer!
